How to Watch New York Jets Games Online?

The New York Jets NFL football team has long been known for their devoted fans who flock to Met Life Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey or are found watching games online in the comfort of their own living rooms every week. This has the makings of a good year to watch the games online; unlike last year when they finished 8-8 on the year after high expectations. Of course it is never easy to finish first in the AFC Eastern Division that also is home to the New England Patriots who always find a way to finish first.

The Jets are coached by high profile coach Rex Ryan. He has had his hands full during this camp. One of the reasons has been because the Jets brought in QB Tim Tebow from the Denver Broncos who brought in Peyton Manning from the Indianapolis Colts. No one is really sure what the Jets were thinking when they made this deal. It could be the biggest publicity stunt the franchise has made since hall of fame QB Joe Namath posed in panty hose or maybe they really do have some kind of plan for Tebow who is a wonderful athlete, but has yet to prove he can quarterback an NFL team.

Tebow did gain a fluke win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs last year, but that was more of a bad defensive coaching job by the Steelers than Tebows ability at QB. Tebow is a good all around fellow, but it will take some time to figure out just how his future will play out in New York because 4th year QB Mark Sanchez seems to have the position locked up tight. The other problem for coach Rex Ryan has been the many brawls his team has had with each other in camp. They said they just needed to hit another team. They got their chance to do that in their first preseason game against the Bengals but came up short 17-6.

The offensive coordinator in Jets land is Tony Sparano. He has a good offense blessed with WR Santonio Holmes and running back Shonn Greene. However, it is the defense in New York that makes all the fuss. These guys come to play and they can be some of the best in the NFL when they are on. The defense is coached by Mike Pettine and displays such defensive powerhouses like defensive tackle Mike DeVito and nose tackle Sione Pouha.

In addition, the New York Jets defense has a great line backing squad in David Harris, Bart Scott and Bryan Thomas. Throw in a defensive backfield with names like Yeremiah Bell, Antonio Cromartie, LaRon Landry and Darrelle Revis and you have a defense to reckon with. The Jets want to do better in 2012 than 2011, but they are going to need to settle down and focus on football. All fans like to watch the teams they love online and the Jets fall right into that mode. If Coach Ryan can get things straight watching the games online might be a good thing for Jets fans in 2012.
